  1. 1. I am really big on classroom community and having a community of learners in the classroom, so I will cultivate social groups by putting desks in small groups and having the children work in small group centers together. We will have rules for everyone's benefit and learning. For example, our goal in the classroom everyday will be to be learners together. If two children are arguing, I may have a conversation with them about how in order to be learners together, we need to get along and ask them some ways that they could work toward that together or that I could help them get along.

    2. Friendships, larger social groups, gangs, romantic relationships
