  1. 1. I plan on including students with disabilities in every aspect of my classroom. I don't think the disability should ever exclude them from any activity, but that I should be more careful in planning lessons that all children can do. I will work to make sure that if a lesson may not be reachable for a child that I will make the necessary accommodations and modifications to make the lesson accessible.

    2. There are common characteristics for students with each specific disability. There is a list on pg. 158 of common characteristics for students with ADHD for example. I think to look at all students with disabilities as a whole though, that there are not many common characteristics of all students with disabilities. All students are different, disability or not. The teacher would need to be more focused on the student's IEP goals, if they have an IEP. But other than that, there are not common characteristics to all people with disabilities.
